The U.S. Open Championship and U.S. Women’s Open Championship will be held at the Pinehurst
Resort & Country Club, Pinehurst No. 2 course designed by legendary Donald Ross. This U.S. Open
Championship is one of four major international championships held each year along with the Master’s,
the PGA Championship and the British Open.

In 1999, the USGA conducted its first U.S. Open Championship at Pinehurst’s famed No. 2 golf course,
and in a dramatic finale the late Payne Stewart sank a 16 foot putt on the 18th hole to secure the
championship. In 2005, New Zealand’s, Michael Campbell, claimed the trophy with a par score of 280.

1. When will tickets be sold for the U.S. Open Championship?
The United States Golf Association utilized an application and draw process for ticket allocation,
which is normally initiated after the prior year’s U.S. Open Championship is completed (in this
case late June 2013). The two prior events held in Pinehurst sold out and there no tickets could be
purchased at the gate of the championship (except Junior Tickets – see below). Refer to the U.S.
Open website, www.usopen.com for more information.

2. Will Junior Tickets Be Available?
Based on past events these tickets would be available at
Will Call. Practice Rounds: Age 13 to 17 cost to be determined. Championship Rounds – Age
13-17 cost to be determined. 12 and younger (based on 2005 policy) will be admitted free f
charge on any day they are accompanied by a valid adult ticket holder.
